The Dutch Hill - Spencerville, Ontario

Herman immigrated to Canada from Holland in 1998 with his wife Thecla and their four children. The family set up residence in Spencerville, Ontario, and together with his two sons, Ronald and Michiel, The Dutch Hill Carpentry was established.

Herman is a master carpenter and master builder with 38 years of experience. As a skilled contractor, Herman has fine-tuned his talents in Heritage carpentry, custom renovations, and cabinet making.

Ronald graduated as a Cabinetmaker from college in Amsterdam, Holland. He continued his craft by earning a diploma in Heritage Carpentry from Algonquin College in Perth, Ontario.

Michiel graduated as a Carpenter from a high school in Weesp, Holland, and went on to graduate as an Architectural Technologist from Algonquin College in Ottawa, Ontario.

The Dutch Hill specializes in all types of renovations, additions, decks, fences, kitchens, bathrooms, as well as custom made cabinets, bookcases and other types of furniture. No project is too big or too small...each project is unique.
